Introduction:
Born in 1971, obtained a master's degree in architecture from Tsinghua University in 1996, studied abroad in Japan as a government scholarship recipient from 1998 to 2001, and was a visiting scholar at MIT in 2009-2010.
Recipient of the "Contemporary China's Top 100 Architects" by the China Architecture Society, the 2nd "Global Chinese Young Architect Award", and the 5th China Architecture Society Young Architect Award. Received one Asia Architectural Association Design Gold Award, three National Design Silver Awards, and more than 30 provincial and ministerial-level architectural design awards. Published over 20 academic papers in domestic and international academic journals and co-authored two academic monographs. Also serves as a visiting professor and supervisor for master's students at multiple architecture schools including Tsinghua University.
In architectural design, emphasizes the integration of natural and cultural environmental characteristics, explores the expression of regional, cultural, ecological, and temporal characteristics in architectural creation, and pursues the natural state of adaptability and change in architecture. Has extensive practice and outstanding works in cultural architecture, large-scale public buildings, sports architecture, and has led multiple urban planning and design projects. Representative architectural works include Beijing Olympic Park Sunken Garden Courtyard 2#, Beijing Shooting Hall for the 2008 Olympic Games, Beijing Discus Field for the 2008 Olympic Games, Haidian Community Center in Beijing, Xuzhou Concert Hall, Xuzhou Art Museum, Xuzhou Underwater Terracotta Warriors Museum and Han Culture Art Museum, Li Keran Art Museum, Xuzhou Nanhu Water Street, Xuzhou Zhushan Art District, Zhang Lichen Art Museum, Wei Tianchi Calligraphy Museum, Yu Jigao Art Museum, Suining Cultural and Art Center, Xuzhou Quanshan Park Visitors Center, Pizhou Yuwang Mountain Anti-Japanese War Memorial Park, Heze Citizens' Cultural Center, Xuzhou Citizens' Cultural Center, etc.
