Personal Introduction:

Mr. Gu Bing has been engaged in lighting design for 20 years after obtaining his bachelor's and master's degrees from Tsinghua University. He has rich experience in architectural lighting, indoor lighting, lighting design, lighting and shading, and other fields. Previously served as a lighting consultant for the Chinese Ministry of Railways, responsible for reviewing and approving indoor and architectural lighting plans for over 400 new railway stations; He presided over the design of various indoor and outdoor lighting projects, such as Shandong Provincial Capital Culture and Art Center, Nanjing Dabaoen Temple New Glazed Tower, Beijing Daxing International Airport Terminal, China Laos Railway Friendship Tunnel, Hangzhou West Station, and won many domestic and international lighting design awards. And was awarded the title of Global Lighting Designer 40 under 40 in 2017 by the UK magazine Lighting and the Lighting Award. Published nearly 10 papers, authorized one invention, multiple utility models, and participated in the editing of "Application Standards for Interior Space Lighting Design in Building Decoration" and "Application Manual for Interior Space Lighting Design in Building Decoration".

My initial motivation for joining:

As a practitioner in the lighting industry, I have participated in various societies, committees, and professional associations, but this is the first time I have officially joined a designer association, which will be an important milestone in my career as a designer. I hope to be able to exchange ideas and collaborate more with fellow lighting designers here, and together we can promote the development of the lighting design industry.
