Mr. Wang Tian focuses on theoretical research and practical work in urban visual planning and design in the context of urban aesthetics and urban renewal. He has presided over visual planning and design projects in nearly 100 cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen. He has won the Hurun Asia's Most Favored Chinese Designer, Shenzhen's 40th Anniversary of Reform and Opening-Up's 40 Most Influential People, and other awards.

Initial aspiration for joining the association：

I have been engaged in urban planning and design and urban aesthetics for more than 20 years. Urban lighting design is more like an ideal and career that carries infinite passion and mission for me. I hope to join AALD and work with more like-minded designers to jointly study the new direction of urban aesthetics and urban lighting in the context of urban renewal. I will integrate lighting design into the planning, design, implementation, and operation stages of urban renewal actions, collaborate with architecture, color, advertising signs, urban furniture, and other professional dimensions to form a comprehensive, three-dimensional, systematic and scientific practice system, and contribute to the fine management and high-quality development of the city.
