Personal profile:

Mr. Yuan Weiming has been engaged in the lighting industry for nearly 16 years, holding senior engineer (lighting design major), senior stage director (China Performance Industry Association), first-level stage lighting designer, senior stage lighting engineer, first-level registered lighting designer (CIES), senior lighting designer and other senior titles. He has won the title of Outstanding Design Youth of Innovation China and his projects have won the Asian Lighting Design Award for many times.

My initial motivation for joining the association:

I entered the lighting industry by chance during my college years, and began my career under the guidance of Mr. Xie Maotang, the president of CLDA. I am honored to be a member of AALD, and hope to become a qualified designer who strives to create a better light environment and enable people to understand and recognize the power of light. The road ahead is long and arduous, but I will continue to seek knowledge and make progress.
