Personal Profile:Mr. Zhu Weikai, a Senior Engineer and Senior Lighting Designer, boasts extensive experience in lighting design and has collaborated with numerous renowned architects on projects such as the Shanghai Tower, Taihu Museum, Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal Museum, and Hangzhou International Sports Center. He has published several professional papers and articles and participated in the compilation of technical guidelines for the renovation of old urban residential areas in Zhejiang Province and application standards for indoor space lighting design in architectural decoration and fitting-out. Additionally, he serves as a specially-appointed expert in the Expert Service Group for Urban and Rural Regeneration in Zhejiang Province and the Vice Chairman of the Lighting Professional Committee of the Zhejiang Provincial Survey and Design Industry Association, actively promoting the development of the industry.


Initial aspiration for joining the association:With over two decades of research in light art and human-centric lighting, I am now applying to join AALD to exchange ideas with more outstanding colleagues and jointly explore innovations in lighting technology, aiming to better apply light to urban public spaces. I look forward to utilizing the association's platform to deeply analyze the interaction between humans and lighting, as well as light and culture, and contribute my efforts to advancing the development of lighting design in Asia.
