The 10th Asian Lighting Design Awards Review Meeting was successfully held in 2025

On April 29th, the highly anticipated final judging session of the 10th Asian Lighting Design Awards came to a successful conclusion at the Central Academy of Fine Arts. The review committee consists of 9 members, namely Chang Zhigang, Lai Yunong, Li Guang, Qi Bin, Rong Haolei, Xu Dongliang, Wang Lixiong, Yan Yonghong and Yuan Jingyu. Among them, Ms. Yan Yonghong served as the chairman and Mr. Lai Yulong served as the vice chairman. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Chang Zhigang.

At the meeting, Ms. Yan Yonghong delivered a speech. She mentioned that in the past decade, the review committee has witnessed the collision of intellectual sparks and the growth of new forces with top universities as the academic source. She hopes to use this review meeting to discover more benchmark projects that combine "high technology, deep art, and humanistic warmth" to push the industry to new heights!

Subsequently, Mr. Lai Yulong delivered a speech. He believes that the design wisdom of Asia is reshaping the discourse system of the global lighting industry. Facing the AIGC technology wave, lighting design has evolved into an interdisciplinary art practice. It is expected that this review meeting will explore more outstanding projects and promote them to the international stage through a multi-dimensional perspective.

Ten years of grinding a sword. Since its establishment in 2015, the Asian Lighting Design Award has always been committed to recognizing those lighting design models that combine functional value and aesthetic height, and promoting the industry to upgrade towards low-carbon and intelligent direction.

The application for this year's Asian Lighting Design Award lasted for nearly five months, and more than 100 high-quality projects from all over Asia were submitted for evaluation. These projects cover many fields such as architectural lighting, landscape lighting, indoor space, light and shadow art, etc., fully demonstrating the innovative spirit and artistic talent of the designers.
