Overseas Lighting Tour - Light + Building Autumn Edition 2006 in Frankfurt

From April 23rd to 27th, 2006, the biennial 2006 Frankfurt International Lighting and Construction Technology and Equipment Exhibition opened in Germany. Yangguang Media，the Secretary Office of AALD，organized a Chinese lighting professional delegation consisting of 30 members, including Professor Zhan Qingxuan from the School of Architecture at Tsinghua University, Professor Yu Lihua from the School of Electronic Information Engineering at Tongji University, and Mr. Lin Zhiming, the Executive Director of BPI Lighting Design China.

After visiting the exhibition, Yangguang Media organized the delegation to visit Lyon, the famous city of nightscapes in France. During the trip, the delegation received a warm reception from Ms. AHMINE, the Deputy Mayor of Lyon, at the City Hall. The hotel where they stayed even raised the Chinese national flag and broadcasted Chinese TV programs.

Professor Zhan Qingxuan from the School of Architecture at Tsinghua University expressed that the activities were very rich in content. In addition to visiting the exhibition, technical inspections were arranged, including visits to Dial laboratory in Germany and Wieland factory, which further allowed us to understand the gap in lighting technology and management between domestic and foreign companies. We also learned about the good cooperation between foreign lighting enterprises and private research institutions.
