Overseas Lighting Tour - Light + Building Autumn Edition 2008 in Frankfurt

From April 6th to 11th, 2008, the biennial Frankfurt International Lighting and Construction Technology and Equipment Exhibition opened in Germany. Yangguang Media，the Secretary Office of AALD, organized a 25-member Chinese lighting professional investigation team to attend this event. At the invitation of companies such as SILL, TARGETTI, OSRAM, ZUMTOBEL, ERCO, PRISMA, and iGuzzini, the investigation team gained a detailed understanding of light sources, outdoor luminaires, indoor luminaires, control systems, LEDs, and their optical, electronic, and heat dissipation systems. They also deepened their understanding of global leading enterprises in terms of light design and control.

On April 8th, China Consultation Day, hosted by Guangzhou Frankfurt Exhibition and co-organized by Yangguang Media, was held during the Frankfurt Lighting and Building Technology Exhibition. The conference targeted overseas manufacturers planning to enter the Chinese market, showcasing the demand and prospects of the Chinese market, attracting approximately 50 overseas manufacturers to participate. During the conference, Chen Yansheng, Chairman of the China Lighting Appliances Association, shared the current situation of lighting in China with the audience. Xu Jiantao shared his firsthand experience and discussed the issues that overseas companies need to pay attention to when operating in China. Li Tienan, Director of the Building Optics Research Department of the China Academy of Building Research, explained the trends and prospects of LED and green lighting in China. Cao Jiansheng, Senior General Manager of Frankfurt Exhibition (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd., introduced the history, current status, and future plans of the Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition.
