Major Work Achievements and Outstanding Contributions:

Over the years, he has chaired or participated in the formulation of 11 national, industry, and local standards, such as participating in the compilation of the "Architectural Lighting Design Standards", and serving as the chief editor of the "Cigarette Factory Lighting Design Standards" and the "Green Lighting Engineering Technical Regulations". He has also chaired or participated in the compilation of 8 design manuals, including being the chief editor of the "Industrial and Civil Distribution Design Manual" and the "Emergency Lighting Design Guide".

In the past decade, he has written more than 30 research papers and technical articles. For example, the "Energy-saving Forecast for Lighting in the Next Ten Years in China" written in 1990 was selected for the National Energy Conservation Week Proceedings in 1991, providing reference for China's Green Lighting Engineering Program. The article "Comprehensive Promotion of Lighting Energy Efficiency" was included in Hong Kong CIE's 1996 technical publication. He/she has participated in or chaired nearly a hundred standard reviews and product evaluations, such as the "Lighting Design Standard" and the "Fluorescent Lamp Efficiency Limit Values and Energy-saving Evaluation Values" national standards. He/she has also participated in or chaired the review of more than 20 engineering electrical and lighting design schemes and engineering bidding evaluations, such as high-rise building power distribution, automation systems, airport lighting systems, and residential district intelligent systems.

 

Major Honors:

In the 1970s, he collaborated with the Physical Institute of the China Academy of Building Research to organize and lead the systematic testing and research on lighting fixtures in China. They compiled a total of three volumes of the "Common Lighting Fixture Design Calculation Charts", which was the first fundamental and practical research project completed in China, and won the National Science Conference Award in 1978. Over the years, he has chaired or participated in the formulation of 11 national, industry, and local standards, such as participating in the compilation of the "Architectural Lighting Design Standards". He has also served as the chief editor of the "Cigarette Factory Lighting Design Standards" and the "Green Lighting Engineering Technical Regulations". He has chaired or participated in the compilation of 8 design manuals, including being the chief editor of the "Industrial and Civil Distribution Design Manual" and the "Emergency Lighting Design Guide". In the past decade, he has written more than 30 research papers and technical articles.
