AALD Coordinator, Debut Appearance

On June 8, 2024, the 19th Light Night and the Asian Lighting Design Awards Ceremony arrived as scheduled. This evening was not only a concentrated showcase of the lighting design achievements of the past year but also a deep discussion of future trends. In this grand event, the AALD 2024 Regional Coordinators made their first appearance, undoubtedly becoming the focus of the entire event.

On the bright and warm stage, the AALD Coordinator officially met with colleagues in the lighting industry. The appearance of the Coordinator not only represents the addition of new forces but also symbolizes that AALD will continue to maintain its professionalism and forward-looking perspective, leading the Asian lighting design industry to new heights.

Coordinator Gathering

The following day, a warm gathering was held, with Coordinators from various regions coming together to share the lighting design dynamics of their respective areas and discuss the opportunities and challenges of industry development. Yan Yonghong, Chairperson of AALD, Professor and Ph.D. Supervisor at the College of Architecture and Urban Planning of Chongqing University, said, "I am very much looking forward to the Coordinators playing a greater role in the future work of the association, injecting new vitality into the development of the Asian lighting design industry."

As the core hub in each region, the Coordinators will be responsible for spreading the mission and philosophy of AALD in various places and will play a significant role in establishing and maintaining partnerships between the lighting industry and various parties, promoting exchanges within and outside the industry, and fostering the circulation of information and resource sharing. With the support of many Coordinators, we look forward to AALD continuing to leverage its platform advantages, gather more innovative forces, and contribute to the progress of the lighting field.
