AI design is coming! | AALD public welfare course

The 2024 AALD Public Welfare Course is hosted by the Asian Association of Lighting Designers (AALD) and organized by Yangon Media. The Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts School of Architecture and Art Design is proposed to be invited as the academic guidance unit.

This public class will be themed on "Exploring the Future of Lighting Design: Application of AI Technology", focusing on how AI can solve existing challenges in lighting design and project implementation, and become the core issue of the public welfare class.

Course Outline

1. The combination strategy and logic of AI tool applications

In the public welfare class, the lecturer will decode the combined strategies and logic of AI tools - ChatGPT, Midjourney, and Stable Diffusion, leading you to explore the unique charm of AI in design, enabling your creativity to be ready to go and showing deeper design depth.

2. AI model training techniques and data feeding methods

The power of AI lies not only in its application, but also in its training. The course will teach AI model training techniques and data feeding methods in a simple and profound way, helping you easily master advanced applications and skills of AI, complete tedious calculations and analysis more efficiently, meet the needs of different customers, and improve design efficiency.

3. Application of AI in project practice

Theoretical knowledge is important, but practical experience is even better. The instructor will combine the students' design projects to deeply analyze the application of AI in project practice, helping you improve your practical ability and making your design more forward-looking.

4. Interactive counseling session and guest interaction

This public welfare class not only has wonderful theoretical sharing, but also interactive coaching sessions and guest exchanges. You will have the opportunity to communicate face-to-face with industry bigwigs, answer questions, and gain more insider knowledge.
