On November 1st, the Asia Lighting Design Awards 2025 successfully held its launch ceremony in the Suzhou-Wuxi-Changzhou region. On November 1st, 2024, the highly anticipated Asia Lighting Design Awards 2025 was successfully launched in the Suzhou-Wuxi-Changzhou region. The launch ceremony was held in these three historic and cultural cities renowned for their exceptional lighting art, aiming to gather lighting design forces in the Yangtze River Delta region and use this as a base to radiate and illuminate the entire country and even the Asian region.

The book signing ceremony for "Lighting Chronicles" was an important part of the event. This book is Xu Dongliang's another masterpiece after "City Lighting Strategies", written over five years. It depicts and presents, from a more professional and detailed perspective, the growth journey of a lighting designer who has experienced the development of China's lighting industry over 20 years. At the event, Wang Xiao, Technical Director and Mentor of the AIGC Lighting Design Workshop, shared a theme on "AIGC Application Cases" online; Zhu Yuerong, Assistant Secretary-General of AALD and AIGC Mentor, conducted a practical demonstration of the "AI Lighting Workstation".
