The 7th AIGC Lighting Design Public Welfare Course was Successfully Held at Guangzhou

On December 25th, 2024, AALD successfully held the 7th AIGC Lighting Design Public Welfare Course at Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts. Students from Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, as well as members of AALD South China and lighting designers from Guangzhou, gathered together to participate in the course.

At the beginning of the course, Qian Ying, Deputy Secretary of the School of Architectural Art and Design at Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, Associate Professor, and Master's Supervisor, and Li Guang, AALD Executive Director, Associate Professor, and Master's Supervisor at the School of Architectural Art and Design at Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, delivered opening remarks. Ma Bin, Secretary General of AALD, Director & Chief Operating Officer of Zhongzhao Development, also made a speech.
Onsite Experience
The course was led by Wang Xiao, Part-time Professor of Interior Design at Shandong University of Art and Design, Technical Director/Tutor of the AIGC Lighting Design Workshop. Zhu Yuerong, Assistant Secretary General of AALD and Project Manager of the AIGC Lighting Design Project, introduced the course topic. During the course, guests personally experienced the AI Lighting Workstation V2.0, an advanced AI generation tool that integrates one-stop solutions specifically designed for lighting professionals.

During the course, there was also exciting news – the official launch of the 2025 Asia Lighting Design Awards (South China Station) was announced concurrently, which undoubtedly injected new vitality and anticipation into the lighting design community.
