The AALD 2025 Executive Council Meeting was successfully held
On April 29th, the 2025 Executive Council of the Asian Association of Lighting Designers (AALD) was successfully held in Beijing. This meeting gathered the executive directors from all over the country through a combination of online and offline means to discuss the future development direction and important decisions of the association. At the meeting, Professor Yan Yonghong, Chairman of AALD, made an opening speech.
In the face of the ever-changing technological iteration and industry ecological reconstruction in the field of lighting design, this executive council meeting focused on core issues such as "internationalization work deployment of the association", "member system upgrade", and "personnel resolution of the association". Through organizational structure optimization and strategic mechanism innovation, it aims to build a more competitive governance framework for the association in cutting-edge fields such as intelligent lighting and low-carbon transformation. The meeting also reviewed the work achievements of 2024, reached a consensus among the executive directors, and clarified the development path of AALD in key dimensions such as technical standardization construction, interdisciplinary resource integration, and industry influence enhancement in the coming year.
Since its inception, AALD has been committed to promoting technological innovation, cultural integration and sustainable development in the lighting design industry. It has hosted a series of industry events, including the Asian Lighting Design Awards, the Asian Lighting Art Forum, Light Night, the Asian Lighting Designers Salon, the Green Low-Carbon Technology Ecosystem, the Smart Enjoyment Conference, and the Overseas Lighting Tour.
The successful convening of the Standing Council not only pointed out the direction for the future development of the association, but also demonstrated the improvement and efficiency of the internal governance structure of the association, laying a solid foundation for the long-term stable development of the association.
