Light and Buddhism - Dayuan Culture Park of Jiuhuashan Mountain Lighting Project Symposium is about to Open

Light and Buddhism -- Jiuhuashan Mountain Dayuan Culture Park Lighting Project Symposium,one of the series symposium of The 2013 China Urban Lighting Theme Conference , will be held in Jiuhuashan Mountain Tourism Area on April 18 to 20, 2013,which is organized by Anhui Jiuhuashan Tourism Group Co.,Ltd and Asia Association of Lighting Designers, AALD for short ,co-organized by Yang Guang Lighting Services Co., Ltd.

Actually in Buddhism culture,light has two different meanings,one is the light with color that you can see, another one is the light in you heart that leading your understanding of the world.Therefore,a senior Buddhism lighting must contain these two lights extremely the second one. The lighting project located in Jiuhuashan, one of the Four Buddhist Mountains, covers a total area of 2.836square kilometers and is religious rites to worship Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva’s . It has fantastic nature environment which combining with turning and retraction of different space,via the change of light and scheme and the arrangement of color and brightness, arouse tourists’ psychological experiences in the changing visual axis.

Professor Rong Haolei, Director of Lighting Design and Research Department, Tsinghua Tong Heng Urban Planning and Design Institute ,which is the designing institutions of this project, will share the project designing experience with. Meanwhile ,interaction also will be arranged in the meeting ,the owners, designers, constructors and suppliers will discuss about each part of the project’s construction and the member of AALD,excepts in lighting industry also will be in the discussion on topics including the need and significance of Buddhist lighting and interior design, the influence and development that Buddhist cultural theme scenic spot make to the city.
